Hi folks! Sorry for the lack of updates. The club was going through an internal change regarding the website and posts were not able to be made at that time.

Nonetheless, here is next week’s event:

Jeff Lewis Landscape Workshop

This week we have a special landscape workshop planned, led by our club’s former landscape extraordinaire Jeff Lewis! A professional photographer based in San Francisco, Jeff has devoted many years to shooting expansive landscapes and studying meteorology in order to maximize his chances of being in the right place at the right time. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to set yourself up to shoot amazing landscapes, and once you’ve found the right moment, composing and taking a photo with lasting impact. Professional photographers will often charge hundreds of dollars to tell you these things, but you’re about to learn them for free! All skill levels are welcome, so come join us this Friday at 4pm in Ackerman 2408.

Following the workshop, we’ll (time permitting) trek to Temescal Canyon for a sunset hike! This will be a great chance to put your learnings into practice. Don’t forget to bring $2.25 for the bus fare.
Finally, club t-shirts are still on sale! Come pick one up at this week’s meeting- $15 each!
See you all this Friday!
