First quarter is half over! Congratulations to everyone for making it this far~~~
This week, Photo Club is planning a special event; professional wedding photographer and UCLA alumni Gavin Holt will be hosting a seminar and engagement photography workshop! Gavin will be providing insight on how to be a successful full-time photographer, followed by demonstrating an engagement-style photoshoot featuring two exceptionally talented student models 😉
If you’re considering going into the photography business, be it full-time or on the side, or if you simply want to learn about portrait shooting from the mind of a pro, be sure to attend! The workshop will be this Friday, November 14th, at 4pm in Ackerman 3516. Save the date!

In addition to Gavin Holt’s workshop, we’ll also be meeting up afterwards for a Lightroom editing session on Friday! Come join your fellow officers and photoshop nerds for tips, tricks, general post-processing guidance, or if you have things you want to teach us! I could talk for days about editing, so if there’s anything you’re interested in discussing, I and the rest of the officers would be more than happy to chew the fat. Seriously, we love to edit. We’ll be meeting in the De Neve Holly Lounge at 8pm!
