Hello!

Thanks to everyone who went to last week’s outing to Abbot Kinney! This week we’ll be going abstract with some smoke photography. We’ll be in Ackerman Union 2408 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm this Friday, the 14th. Bring your camera and an external flash + trigger if you have one, and we hope to see you there! Downtown LA Artwalk (2nd Thursdays):

Once again, it’s the 2nd Thursday of the month, and that means LA ArtWalk! Art galleries and studio spaces open their doors for passerbys, and multiple food trucks are also in attendance (http://www.truckitfest.com/) (Third and Spring). You can get there by taking the 720 Metro bus (there’s a stop on Wilshire) to Downtown.

Free Holiday Mondays at LACMA:

If you haven’t checked out LACMA‘s famous streetlamps and the rest of the sprawling museum, take advantage of their free day this coming Monday, February 17th. Hours are 11am-5pm, and it’s a quick ride on the 720 metro bus.

DT Culver City Third Wednesdays:

Explore Downtown Culver City during Culver City’s own monthly art/food/music celebration, next Wednesday night between Culver and Washington Blvds and Dusquene Ave.
