Hello all,
Thanks to those that went to our pinhole camera workshop last week! This week, join us for a workshop on dynamic range and exposure blending! We’ll be meeting this Friday from 4-6PM in MS 5128, led by our own landscape photographer Jeff Lewis. He’ll be distributing raw files for a few of his images, and demonstrate some of the methods he uses to make his photos true-to-life. As many of you know, he hopes to soon be a full-time photographer, and this will almost certainly be the last time ever that he will offer this workshop for free. These techniques have become the standard for outdoor photographers, so be sure to come!
All skill levels welcome. Bring a laptop with Photoshop installed, and a pencil and paper if you want to remember something. You can rent a laptop with Photoshop from the UCLA libraries if you don’t have one, or you can download the trial version.
Everyone, but especially mentees: we’ll go out to dinner afterward.
