Hello all!

We hope that you’ve had a fantastic, photography-filled winter break, but it’s time to get back into the swing of things with the Photography Club at UCLA as we go to LA ArtWalk this week. We’ll also be holding a general meeting this Friday, the 11th. Stop by for an overview of the club and our plans for the quarter! We’ll be selling our awesome club shirts for $15 at the general meeting, so if you haven’t picked one up yet, you can grab one on Friday. LA ArtWalk:

LA ArtWalk is held on the second Thursday of each month, which, luckily for us, is this week’s Thursday, January 10th. Art galleries and studio spaces open their doors for passerbys, and multiple food trucks are also in attendance (http://www.truckitfest.com/). We’ll be meeting up at Ackerman Loop at 6:00 pm, and walking down to the 720 bus stop on Wilshire. Bring $3.00 ($1.50 one-way), and a flash if you think you’ll need it. Don’t forget to bring extra cash if you’re planning on a bite to eat as well.

General Meeting:

We’ll be meeting at 4:00 pm this Friday, the 11th, in Ackerman 3517. It will be an overview of the club and our plans for the quarter, so stop by if you have any questions. We’ll also be discussing the intro to photography class (syllabus, etc.), so if you didn’t attend last quarter, now’s the time. We’ll also be selling club shirts, so pick one up if you haven’t already.
