Hello all!

Thanks for those who came out to our outing last week, we had a blast! This week we will be heading to the botanical gardens for a quick photo workshop!  We’ll be meeting at the Bruin Bear at 3:45 PM on Friday, October 26.  Don’t forget to bring your cameras, and hope to see you all there!

For those interested in the weekly intro class, we’ll be meeting up on Sunday, October 28th, at the Bruin Bear at 12:00pm.

Photography in LA:

A new photography exhibit has opened up at the Getty Museum on Robert Mapplethorpe , showcasing his still-lifes, nudes, and celebrity portraits. The Getty Museum gardens have also reopened for those interested in wandering the grounds. To get to the Getty Museum from campus (the dorms) take the Metro 761 ($1.50 one way) from Sunset/Bellagio towards Pacoima and ride two stops until Getty Center Dr.. Then cross the road and take the tram up to the museum. There is no entry fee for the museum, and the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm.
