Call for Artists “California Visual Artists: Celebrating California Artists and Their Work”

Entry Receipt Deadline is Wednesday, December 2, 2009

Eligibility All artists living in California. All media except film and video. All work submitted for consideration must be available for exhibition January 9 – February 10, 2010

Juror Ed Schad, a curator and writer living in Los Angeles, is the juror. He has written independently for Art Review in London, Art Slant in Los Angeles, Renegade Bus in Dallas, and writes and manages the blog www.icallitORANGES.blogspot.com. He is also Curatorial Associate at The Broad Art Foundation in Santa Monica.

Cash awards $500, $300, $200, $100 Entries Slides – standard 2″x 2″ mounted, labeled slides.

Photographs/Digital Prints – at least 5″x7″, no bigger than 8.5″x 11″ (no size limitation on actual exhibited work)
